Some Finished Class Pieces

Here are my completed pieces (well almost; the first one still needs some journaling) for Monica Zuniga's online classes. I finally have an Art journal with a few pages completed...yay!!

I have so many other things I am working on right now it is becoming a little crazy! I have so many ideas in my head that I am having a hard time getting them out. I decided to start writing them down, but my list keeps getting longer and longer... I guess I will just have to pick and choose. Do you ever feel overwhelmed with ideas? Do you have any tips on how to organize those thoughts? There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day...

They're both beautiful, but the one based on the Free Spirit class is really different for you. You did good!

Beautiful new pieces, Shonna. Many artists keep an inspiration journal to organize their thoughts when new ideas strike. Add sketches, notes on color combos or themes.
Good luck!

Shonna, these are beautiful. I love Monica's techniques. I won one of her paintings a few months back, it is one of my favorites.

Don't you love it when you have so many ideas? You are gifted and limitless.

First off your pieces are gorgeous Shonna - your talent is endless!
Secondly I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your comments on my blog regarding our teenagers! I too am a step mom to my near 15 year old daughter and near 13 year old son. The two youngest (9&6) are mine. I entered into Kenzie's life when she was almost 12 so we are still very much in the learning curve of our relationship. I felt like I hit the fast forward bottom from my oldest being 6 to my oldest being 12!! It was quite a jolt and I felt so inexperienced! Anyway...I could go on, and on!! Thank you again...your words really helped me! Blessings.
oh...and as far as the ideas - can completely relate to that - i HAVE to write them down! I keep a binder of blank paper with all my sketches, ideas, scratch notes, etc... so I don't run out of paper and everything is in one location! So far it has worked...now I just have to put some of these ideas into ACTION!

Overwhelmed, yes! There are so many things I want to do, try, learn to do.....there's not enough time in the day. Those journal pages are just exquisite! I adore your style.
Cheers,
